Up-Coming Church Services

Communion Service 10:00am, Palm Sunday 29 March 2026 at Tawa Baptist Church. Will Warden plans to continue the series on the parables of Jesus. Hands On Kids Church event in the hall.

Good Friday Service 9:30am, Friday 3 April 2026: Prayer walk starts outside Tawa Baptist Church at 9:30am, culminating with a worship service at the Tawa Catholic Church, then hot cross buns in the Tawa Anglican Emmaus Centre. Children remain in for the duration of the service.

Easter Sunday Service 10:00am, Sunday 5 April 2026: Combined service at Tawa Baptist Church with the Tawa Salvation Army. Major Andrew Moffat will bring the message. Children’s programmes provided.

Worship Service 10:00am, Sunday 12 April 2026 at Tawa Baptist Church. Pat Hutchison will bring the message. Children’s programmes provided.

Our worship services are normally held each Sunday morning at 10:00am in the church auditorium. The service is usually around 70 to 80 minutes long. Children generally stay in for the first 10 to 15 minutes before leaving for their respective programmes.

The morning services are videoed. Just ask at the church office if you want to borrow a copy. Sermon notes are also published to read or study with small groups.

Communion

We normally celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month. You do not need to be a member to take communion. All who love the Lord Jesus and who seek to honour him are welcome to partake of the elements (bread or gluten free crackers & grape juice).
